Mary Whitmarsh

I love drawing, painting and many crafts. Always looking to improve. I never really had a teacher in school who actually taught I was just left to get on with it. I have sold some quite a few pictures etc but I’ve never had the courage to put any up for sale. Its usually delivery people who see something I’m doing and ask me to do their children wife dogs etc and before Christmas tends to be stressful. I was offered a scholarship when I was younger but my father said no the only wealthy artist was a dead one. This is now my chance to really have a go. I do have limitations in that I’m now classified as physically disabled which brings with it a multitude of medical problems that does require some creative methods to overcome. However, when I look at how art has moved on and how exciting the possibilities are with what I may be able to achieve when taught I’m really looking forward to this.
