Liesl van der Hoven

I am a meditation teacher, artist and author. I have written and illustrated one published children's book (so far). I mostly work in a combination of gouache and watercolour pencils on paper. I've also had my illustrations printed on fabric and have created products such as cushions and dolls. For my book, I created composite illustrations in Photoshop using my hand-drawn illustrations, photos of my dolls and photos I took in nature. I enjoy the courses on Domestika to reconnect with my creativity and to be inspired to try new techniques.
