Karin Due Østergaard-Jensen

I'm an architect living in Aarhus Denmark.

I graduated from Aarhus school of Architecture in 2010, my major being cultural heritage and restoration/transformation of old buildings. My final project - a cultural house in the lighthouse of Hirtshals - was actually realized. I was granted residency at the Danish Institute in Rome. I had a great time there, studying both classic and newer architecture.
Getting a job as an architect during the recession was very hard, so I have had many different jobs since then, including city planning, teaching, social work and jobs in communication and project management. I don't have an english CV, but I can make one if you like.

For the personal stuff I can say that I love drawing, good coffee, books, dancing (tango) cats and dogs and travelling. I don't have kids and I lean to the introvert type although I love having people around me. I am originally from the western part of my country and like to live close to the sea.

Future plan: To become an illustrator.
