Julia Valderrama

A doctor from Melilla (Spain), Julia is devoted to public health issues in developing countries. Since finishing medical school in Granada (Spain), she has lived and worked in several countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. She also lived in India and Africa for several years, where she worked in Equatorial Guinea, Kenya, South Sudan, Somália and Angola for different international organizations. Her interest in writing was consolidated while completing her Masters in Public Health at Boston University (United States). Since then, she has published several papers in different scientific journals.
