Hi! My name is José Miguel Fernandes.

• 25 year old Product Designer. Born and raised in Lisbon. Living in Madrid.

• 4 years experience in physical and digital design practices, 3D modelling / rendering / printing and material crafts in wood, metal and stone.

• 2 years experience in Design Thinking & Prototyping.

• What I like the most in Design is the variety of work, each project is a whole new education because of the research component.

• I value being able to apply user centered methodologies, striving for qualitative research results, keeping a close and constant contact with users in every stage of the process, from the immersion up until testing.

• I’m a technology driven person with a passion for sustainability and a maker / DIY movement, looking for complex problems that can be solved with methodologically simple solutions.
