Lead Product Designer

🚀 Who we’re looking for:
Product School is the global leader in Product Management training with a community of over one million product professionals which you will have the opportunity to directly influence in this Lead Product Designer role. We’re at an exciting time in our growth with our recent funding round, and continuing to expand our team around the world.

As our Lead Product Designer working on our website experiences, you'll work on developing and iterating big new ideas and elevating existing experiences that will transform how people gain product management skills. You’ll collaborate with engineers, product and project managers, and other designers. We are a global team working in a fast-paced, growing environment. Your work will highly influence our overall product value and design.

💼. What you’ll do:
• Contribute to the overall strategy and decision-making about product direction for our main acquisition, onboarding, and free learning experiences
• Help deliver and refine clear storytelling around customer needs, opportunities, and product solutions
• Work cross-functionally as part of the product team
• Create, collaborate, and iterate on flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals
• Design and ship high-quality website improvements
• Play a key part in supporting the growth and maintenance of our design system
• Regularly participate in design critiques across the design team

⭐️ The qualifications we’re looking for:
• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience designing at scale-up companies; Membership/Community/Education product companies are a plus
• You know the in's and out's of the newest design tools including Figma, Sketch, Invision, etc., but you also don't shy away from the older ones like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.
• You have a bias toward action and choose to leverage quick visual communication, including sketches, wireframes, and flow diagrams
• You leverage your prototyping skills to articulate your designs, especially in cases where interactions may be particularly nuanced
• You value high quality well crafted visual design and care about the details
• You have experience in different human-centered design tools including, user interviews, usability tests, and competitive analysis
• You are motivated by feedback, and by the opportunity to improve in your role, in the work, and in how you work together as a team
• You have a portfolio showing your track record of shipping phenomenal product design, and an understanding of what details matter at each stage of the discovery, development, and release cycles
• You are fluent in English, and fluency in Spanish is a plus
• You are comfortable in an experimental and extremely fast-paced environment
• You have high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
• You have passion for product management and continuing education
