Jessica Llusia

My mom is a professional painter and I grew up in this universe seeing her daily painting, drawing, exhibiting in galleries. She gives lessons and I have always liked to observe her and I learned a lot by mimicry.

At the time I was doing one painting per year, but for 7 years I have been drawing and painting almost daily, I take great pleasure in it, it helps me a lot on a daily basis to release the excess of ideas in my brain.

I have a project and that's why I wanted to take lessons in order to test different techniques, to surpass myself and also to get out of my comfort zone.

My project is to create a comic book with my cat, Papaya as the main theme. The title would be SpacePaya and the comic would follow my cat's adventures in space, discovering other planets, other cultures, the recurring themes would be openness, benevolence, empathy and how adapt to a new environment.

While waiting to dare to start this comic, I try to improve myself on a daily basis in order to find my artistic signature.
