Hernan Santiago

Hola soy Hernán Santiago , nací en Argentina y tengo viviendo en México más de 14 años .
México se ha convertido en mi hogar y ahora soy orgullosamente mexicano.
Cuando comencé mi carrera de fotógrafo me dediqué al foto reportaje,
una rama de la fotografía que me encanta por el hecho de contar y plasmar historias con emociones,
lo que me ha llevado también a la fotografía de bodas,
sin duda contar historias de amor me cautiva emocionalmente.
La fotografía ha sido algo que verdaderamente me apasiona, por ello me dediqué también hacer
fotografía de moda, arquitectura y publicitaria
. Explorar el mundo creativo de la fotografía me llevó a la fotografía subacuática.
Las fotos surrealistas abajo del agua fueron para mi un reto,
ya que plasmar toda esa belleza llena de colores que caen por debajo del agua
crea un mundo completamente fantástico.
Sin duda el mejor lugar para hacerlo es aquí en la Riviera Maya, donde se expresa
una naturaleza surrealista llena de cenotes en combinación con el verde sus manglares
y los rayos de luz que penetran con el pasar de las horas; es simplemente algo mágico y maravilloso!

Hi! I'm Hernan Santiago and I was born in Argentina. I moved to México 14 years ago,
and has become my home. I feel truly proud to be a Mexican resident.
When I started my photography career, I was more focused on journalism
photography, a field I love, for the fact to tell and capture stories and emotions.
Emotions was actually the reason for me to start being a wedding photographer,
no doubt telling love stories as a creative person captivates myself emotionally.
Photography has been my motor, what really passionates me, and the reason
why I got into the fashion industry, architecture and advertising.
Exploring a creative world of photography led me to start the underwater
productions, was a big challenge for myself
to capture all the colorful beauty that surrounds the underwater world.
No doubt that Riviera Maya is the best place to do it.
Such a magic place where the surrealist nature full of "cenotes",
natural rays of lights that pass trough the crystal water
and the green of the jungle, can create so much wonderful magic.
