I always loved colors, basic drawing, manual arts, writing, among other non-related topics, such as baking, etc. Through youtube, then instagram I started to see modern calligraphy and lettering. I didn't understand the difference, but I tried to mimic what I was seeing and at the moment, didn't understand the technique behind the strokes, among other. I took a brief lettering course online, for about a week. I practiced but didn't go too far with it. I wondered how I could further learn, then I took a lengthy course with happily ever crafter, of Basic Modern Calligraphy, that's where I learned more. I fell in love with calligraphy, although I love lettering as well. I love to create cards, signs, and any art with letters. I aim to learn further since my knowledge is basic. I am thrilled to have learned about the calligraphy / flourishing's course through Domestika (Instagram). I love the work of Paola Gallegos. She has a lovely gift, the beautiful art of letters. I'm hoping to learn and improve. I currently offer free classes to the community; I do it because I love to bring people together and talk about Jesus. I'm truly aiming to expand my basic knowledge and share with others. Thank you for offering this program.
