Gabrielle Wills

I am an economist working on education issues in South Africa. Recently, I have been challenged to return to things I loved as a child, in hopes that it will reignite passion and energy in me again. I recall that when I was a young child I loved to draw, but then in the busyness of life there was no time for art. I don't know if I can draw, and I don't need to be great at it. But I do want to capture the beauty of the land that I live in. South Africa has a glorious diversity of fauna and flora. My heart jumps as I look at our trees and plants. I want to learn how to draw them, and share the beauty of what I see and remind myself of the glorious gifts we have been given here.
