Andra Kurlis

I sketch in pencil and pen and ink, and paint in watercolour and acrylic. I have produced archaeological drawings for publication, and enjoyed drawing flints the most. I admire Schiele, Hambling, Sickert, Beardsley, and many others. I love artists who find the 'right' line and aren't afraid to leave it , unembellished, upon the page. In normal times, I attend a number of life drawing sessions and go out sketching at home and when I travel.
