Diane Simpson

I am an author of children's stories. I have a passion for art that stems from my Grandmother. She taught art to handicapped children as a form of expression as many were unable to articulate their feelings. I have no formal training, however, I do not let that deter me. I feel art is a soul's expression and that is enough. Yet, I want to draw better and tackle more complicated images. This is why I am here.

I am inspired by everyday things: delipidated old barns, the colors of wildflowers, old dishes, and wild animals. The list is extensive.
