Denise McGovern

Hi, my name is Denise; I am the managing director of Grow Happy Childcare. I set up the business in 2005 after struggling to find appropriate childcare for my son. Before that, I was a manager for the RAC and BUPA. I live in Stalybridge with my husband David, who is also a director of the company, and my two children. I thoroughly love my job, going to the nursery most days, spending time with all my staff and of course the children. And I’m proud to be a part of such a dedicated and committed team.
During my spare time I also create bespoke Dolls and Memory Bears, amongst other soft toys. This has now become more than a hobby. Its more a Cottage business.
This is the project I would like to work on whilst doing this course.
