Wiebke Lüders

I am German Hardanger fiddle maker living in Western Norway. Puppet theatre is my great passion and in my spare time I love to produce marionette theatre shows, making the puppets and stage stetting myself. I learned to carve heads from a viola da gamba maker in the Netherlands and to make and play marionettes at the Marionette Theatre Schloss Schönbrunn in Vienna, where I worked many years as a puppeteer. I love that instrument and puppet making both combine fine craftsmanship with the aim to create something beautiful out of wood, which you in the end can use for playing.
