The course is very useful. The teacher gives his perspective on abstract art, shares a number of tips and you can learn a lot just by watching him paint. I wouldn't say that it's a course for beginners. There are a lot of things you may need to purchase if you don't already have a set of mixed media materials. The cool thing about the course is that even if you just try to copy the exact steps the teacher is taking to create his art, you will get something very different

I am extremely satisfied with his approach to abstract painting and I've learned a great deal. Well worth the money, I'd say.

I think that what I am learning from this course is an approach to abstract painting that includes pacing oneself; knowing when to make certain compositional decisions; avoiding getting lost in chaos, or how to reconsider direction and reintroduce defining aspects of a piece; and how to use tools to get certain results. That's a ton to learn in a short time, and he is very good at communicating all of it, through word and action. This is a very valuable course for me that I will revisit.

Clear and very helpful

I had never created in abstract before, although I like to look at abstract art. This gave me a better understanding and appreciation of the creative process involved. I liked the laid back style of the teaching.

Very interesting and just complex enough to get a beginner going. I recommend this course for sure!
