the course contained very useful information, especially for someone like me who is just starting to use gouache as a medium. style however cannot be taught but thankful she showed her process and it was a great help. thank you for sharing this to the world!

I found this course inspiring. The teacher's instruction was easy to follow and she includes small details that illuminate the process. Her style shows you that you can innovate even in a popular genre like botanical folk motifs. Highly recommend; this is one of the best courses I've taken on Domestika.

I loved this course! The instruction was simple enough for a beginner yet intricate enough for a professional. Malin captures and keeps your attention with her calm and nurturing demeanor and encourages you to do your own work...whatever pleases you. It's obvious that she loves what she is doing as she constantly smiles while working. I definitely encourage you to take this course!

Malin is an excellent instructor. I have not yet completed the class but have already learned so much and am beginning my sketches and doing the research to study color and techniques she has recommended. I am thoroughly enjoying this class!

I chose this course because I admire Malin Gyllensvaan‘s illustrations. Her design process is coloured by her background in pattern design, and as such, it was completely new to me, and a radically different approach than my own.
In terms of learning about what techniques there are for gouache, there might be more in depth courses available, but this was both fun and useful.
