Não conhecia o Chris, comprei o curso por gostar da técnica do pastel seco e querer aperfeiçoar o desenho de retratos. Achei muito interessante a técnica dele e estou gostando como usa as cores.

Interesting points about palette selection, colour wheel, as well as abstraction . In terms of technique, i don't think it adequately covered some basic principles of pastel painting such as working from dark to light, use of a values scale to create form, squinting, layering colours of similar rather than differing tone to avoid mud. Discussion of various surfaces such as sanded paper, pastel mat etc would have been helpful. Great aesthetics. Not so great on using the medium.

No me ha gustado mucho el curso la verdad. Creo que no está muy bien explicadas algunas cosas sobre la aplicación de los colores y la forma de colorear el retrato.

This is a very valuable course that not only taught how to paint with soft pastel but also the color theory and the proportions. Highly recomened
