nice beginner course to learn the approach of drawing a character. easy to follow.

This course went more in-depth on animal anatomy, sketching and drawing. Even though, it was a real challenge for me to learn about animal anatomy and find the right perspective, I felt encouraged by Julie's patient and enthusiastic demeanor to keep on going and just try to do my best. I found all of her tips and pieces of advice helpful and informative, and if she ever decides to create a third course I would definitely do it. I totally loved this experience.

I learned several valuable things from this course: the action line, the three main body parts, the perspective box, the importance of understanding anatomy, and thinking in volumes. It was good to see extended videos of the artist sketching from start to finish. I would have liked to see the artist’s reference photos as she was drawing, in order to better understand some of her decisions.

This was a fabulous course! Julie, can you please suggest any ways to draw animal emotions like a frightened fox or a confused animal? Would love any resources for drawing human emotions on animals, especially animals with a long nose like elephant of fox. Please consider doing a course on animal characters with emotions
