Botanisches Zeichenheft: ein meditativer Ansatz

I loved it. I leaned some techniques, but mostly it taught me to take it slow and enjoy the process. I like Lapin’s approach and style. Just what I needed. I may take another course of his.

Not really for beginners. I expected more techniques and more focus in how to go from the model to the paper.
Just observing carefully is not enough for beginners. Also, the camera focuses more on Lapins hands than in the watercolor process

Estou gostando muito de como o Lapin mantém o compromisso em conduzir o curso com o foco meditativo, proporcionando uma atividade de tranquilidade.
As aulas não se prendem fortemente em ensinar técnicas e severos exercícios para aprimorar seu desenho; a parte técnica ele ensina com louvor e o necessário, com suavidade, para te dar base ao que mais importa aqui que é relaxar, observar e meditar com isso.

C est un cour fabuleux avec une personne qui est un artiste illustrateur impressionnant
Les directives sont précises, il nous accompagne tout au long du processus
Beaucoup de temps et de démonstrations sont pour nous des apprentissages
plus faciles a acquérir.
J'adore cette façon de rendre par l'aquarelle les fleurs, plantes et sa façon de nous y amener dans le plaisir et la méditation.

In my eyes this course requires many skills to bring with you already. I would have wished for more technical tipps for sketching plants and colour schemes: Just "carefully observing" doesn't make me understand how to transform the shape of a 3D object to paper, which i would love to learn, and the same goes for how to train the eye for understanding colour shades of an object and how to reproduce these sensations with my palette. It was an enjoyable course though, but maybe not for beginners.

I really liked that course. It's very relaxing!

This course is amazing. It’s very gentle and simple to follow. I can see the progress I have made already. Would highly recommend this course to anyone who is starting out in drawing.

C’est un bon cours. J’ai fais des progrès en dessin de végétaux et j’aime beaucoup l’approche de la colorisation en techniques mixte.

Exactly as described. As a beginner I found the course a bit challenging however very easy to comprehend and apply most of the techniques right away. It also provided me the confidence to move further on with my practices. Thank you so much.

Lapin explica su técnica de color en botánica, similar a la que plantea en Urban scketch. La diferencia estriba en el dibujo botánico siguiendo/ intentando aproximarse a las las normas de la ilustración científica. Gracias.

I enjoy the simplicity of drawing & explaining the reasons for various details in each drawing. He clearly explains everything very well & I look forward to continuing each exercise!
