Enjoyable and well-explained course on how to create characters with personality. Also loved the small watercolor technique catalogue she created at the beginning, demonstrating her (most) used techniques.

I enjoyed this class. It was good to see how Valentina finds and uses her references, as well as watching how she pulls it all together and uses different watercolour techniques to develop an individual character.

This course is my second Domestika course. It was interesting, but these courses are not in very much depth. They inspire but do not do as much teaching as I had hoped. The two I have watched are artists telling about their style and techniques. It is interesting to hear and to see, but not really the instruction I had hoped to find. It is difficult that they are not in English, because one must watch the screen at all times, and cannot begin to experiment during the lesson.

I ma 3/4 of the way through, just now collecting my reference. Can't wait to finish. Great course!

She has a cool, hip style that made it a very enjoyable course to take and apply some of her sensibilities to my own.

Valentina's instructions are very clear and she makes character drawing feel approachable at any skill level. I enjoyed learning about different techniques to bring texture and life to our characters!
