I've always thought of illustration as something which simply accompanies a written text. Alfonso Serra made me understand that illustrations are as essential as words in telling stories. This course has been really illuminating to me, I do reccomend it!

The instructor is clear and the activities are very engaging even for a beginner. The history and resources he gives are also very useful and interesting.

Another fantastic course of Adolfo Serra. He shows so many possibilities, ideas and love for details! It's a lot of fun to see and try all the different things he offers during the course. I love it, thank you!

Very useful course: Alfonso Serra gave me a method to build an illustration. And he also explain two techniques that I've never used before to illustrate. He's very clear ad concrete. I really recommend this course!

I am locked down in Chongqing China and it has helped me. I need to focus more on it, but that's my problem. My family got back after two months isolation in Hubei, where Wuhan is. The course is a catalyst for lots of thoughts and I have hardly started yet!

Un "must have" de Domestika. Adolfo es un gran ilustrador, super creativo e inspirador. Te anima a experimentar con técnicas tradicionales en un momento en el que cada vez las dejamos más de lado por sus variantes en digital. Recomendado al 100% para cualquier ilustrador o amante de la ilustración.

The course it was really interesting and helpfull for a beginner like my case. I could use some more information about technical stuff that the teacher could show us, how to use colours, mixed them with other materials, little secrets... I would love a course with technical "secrets" in illustration of children's books!
