Cris Cruz

I'm an artist seeking to expand my skills via instruction, my preferred method of learning. My work is mostly based around a psycho-spiritual and religious exploration of masculinity and male sexuality. Even when painting women I tend to include psycho-spiritual ideas of the Divine Feminine. I'm heavily influenced by Impressionist brushstrokes combined with the mythic narratives of the 19th century Romantics and late 19th-early 20th century works such as those by Sargent and Leyendecker. My contemporary influences are Martin Fuhrer and Wes Gardner.
