Born, 1979 Mayagüez Puerto Rico. Committed multidisciplinary artist, standing out on painting, and mixed media on diverse surfaces. 1998, graduated from the Training and Fine Arts Center, Base Ramey Puerto Rico. With a concentration in Visual Arts with two awards on Excellence Award and Total Excellence Award. 2003, obtained a bachelor’s degree in Painting at School of Fine Arts and Design of Puerto Rico. 2010, graduated from a master’s degree in education with a specialty in Museology at Caribbean University of Puerto Rico. 1996 & 1998 received two resolutions Excellence in Art of Puerto Rico from the Senate of Puerto Rico. 2010, recognition Extraordinary Contribution to Culture as a Multidisciplinary Artist from the honorable and deceased mayor of Caguas Puerto Rico, Sr. William Miranda Marin, and the Civil Women Club and its president Milka I. Colón de Lizardi, an awarded Soto with the Exponent Career in the World of Art as a Working Woman in Celebration of the International Week of Woman. Soto’s works forms part of private and public art collections such as (1) Museum of Anthropology, History and Art of the University of Puerto Rico, (2) Institute of Puerto Rican Art and Culture Puerto Rico, (3) Museum of Art of Puerto Rico, (4) Museum of Contemporary Art of Puerto Rico, (5) Cooperativa de Seguros Múltiples of Puerto Rico, (6) Reyes Veray Collection and private collections in Puerto Rico, New Jersey, New York, Miami, Florida, and Canada. 2014, recent solo exhibitions Untiled, Viota Gallery Puerto Rico and Morfopsiconalogía at the Museum of the America Puerto Rico. 2014-17 Soto made research through capsule reviews of "Art Topics" at broadcast on 89.7 fm, Radio Universidad of the University of Puerto Rico. As an educator, taught in universities institutions and art museums. 2017-19 was Director of the Department of Painting of the School of Plastic Art and Design of Puerto Rico. Continues offering classes and workshops for the International School of Engineering, Arquitect and Design of the University Ana G. Méndez of Puerto Rico and The Art League Institution of San Juan Puerto Rico.
