Bianca Bunier

Born in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil; The enchantment with photography has been with me since I was a teenager.

With 23 years old I packed and moved to New York. I stayed there for a few years, did a Master's degree in Film and TV, went through several jobs until I got into the Movie industry. I returned to Brazil, where I worked on Television and Advertising for another 2 years - as an Assistant Director. I went back to NY for a Scene Lighting course.

From then on life gave a little push and launched me into Photography, I Assisted the renowned Photographer Alan Battman, risked a few clicks with a semi-professional camera and soon after grabbed an opportunity for Wedding Cinematography Assistant. I spent 2 years between NY and Brazil, dividing myself as Assistant Cinematographer and Assistant Director.

In 2016, I produced and directed an experimental videoclip in NY. In 2017, I bought my first professional camera, created the photography project “Nudity Awareness” about awareness of female nudity. I began to explore different areas of photography.

In 2018, I produced and directed the short film “Awakening”, a poetic reflection on new times. 2019 established my relationship with Photography full time. The passion for creating and telling stories, is presented as aesthetic in my photographs, each human being has his unique and exclusive. With influences like Sebastião Salgado and Annie Leibovitz, my first photographs were only in black and white; I love to paint with light and bring depth.
