I'm a fulltime and enthusiastic teacher and work with children with "special needs" (I dont know the correct description in english as it chances from time to time). I love this profession because of the children and as it is not that strictly controlled and predestinated how I work, compared to other schools in germany. We do many many creative things in my classroom.
Since my studies in art education I draw regulary. I do have a small group of other artists in Gießen since then, we own a little Atelier with rooms to work and an exhibitionroom, with regular events and good contacts to other cereative people in the small village. From the moment I found out about "urban sketching" this is one of my passions- I founded the "Urban sketchers mittelhessen" with regular events since about 7 years. I participate in events of other groups and the annual german- meeting and sometimes the worldwide event, because I LOVE that people with same interests gather together and create this special spirit while working and making art on location.
I love childrens books with good illsutrations and thats how we (my not drawing but as well creative sister and me) discovered the works of Adolfo Serra, and I'm so much looking forward to getting to know some of his influences, his spirit and his strategies.
