Alba Mariné Villar

From an early age I excelled at school in subjects related to artistic expression, and I won various artistic competitions and awards. In 2010, I graduated from the University of Barcelona with a Fine Arts degree, having specialised in sculpture, as well as having studied painting, drawing and photography.

While at university, I began to focus on my future plans in the world of character creation, choosing electives such as portrait sculpture, modeling and painting. I always had a great interest in artistic makeup and creating special effects for film, theatre and television.

I won the Erasmus scholarship to go to Perugia, Italy. While studying in Perugia, at the Accademia Pietro Vannucci, I participated in a performance where for the first time I was exposed to the world of artistic makeup, through a live bodypainting performance. While in Italy I also won the "Giugno in Art 2009 " contest in the category of sculpture and was a finalist in the category of painting .

After university I continued my artistic career as an arts manager in Edinburgh for 7 months with the European Voluntary Service. After returning to Barcelona, I finished a specialized MakeUp Artist course.
