Hi! My name is Alexandra Csatári -
Alexandra means “defend, protect" and Csatári means “striker”. The meaning of these two words describes it well how I see myself as a designer. I have a great passion for helping people and I’m keen to make positive impact through design, raise awareness to important issues and tell stories that matters. I believe that with the power of design opinions and behaviours can be changed for good.
Currently, I am a soon-to-be graduate graphic designer from Arts University Bournemouth. During my studies I became more interested in working on societal issues, I enjoy problem solving and designing with the users. Last year I worked on a project called Sanum which aim was to help the rehabilitation of stroke survivors. The project was featured on Creative Conscience website and awarded Commended. I’m also interested in making campaigns and using illustrations to get across an important message. This year I created a campaign to promote phone recycling with GiffGaff and another one for Artfund_ to promote museums all across the UK. However, my interests are much greater than this, I am always eager to learn something new, experiment and broaden my practice.
In addition to university, I have worked with TEDxLibertyBridgeWomen where I created both digitial and print assets for two of their events. During my studies I've also started freelancing, I’ve been creating various graphic assets such as business cards, infographics, creative CVs and poster designs.
I am keen to gain industry experience in a studio or agency environment, but I am also oppen to collaborate on a project as a freelancer. If there is a possibility that I might show you more of my work, please get in touch!
