Title: Strenght
The garment is constructed from fragmented organza patches joined with visible topstitching, creating a delicate yet structural surface. The transparency exposes every connection, making the seams a record of effort rather than a hidden construction line. Children’s drawings are translated into embroidery and scattered across the form, introducing gestures that are instinctive, uneven and emotionally direct. The piece treats strength not as rigidity but as accumulation — built through repair, repetition and care, where vulnerability becomes the load-bearing element of the silhouette.

Materiały i narzędzia
Organza fabric remnants, embroidery threads in varied thicknesses, sewing thread, stabilizing backing, tracing paper for transferring drawings.
Domestic sewing machine for topstitching, embroidery hoop, free-motion embroidery foot, hand embroidery needles, fabric scissors, pins and tailor’s chalk.
Strenght.
The piece began as a sorting ritual. Small leftover fragments of organza were grouped by density and tone rather than color, then slowly composed on the mannequin like a translucent collage. Instead of hiding joins, every edge was secured with topstitching — the line became the skeleton. The garment grew outward from connections, not from pattern pieces.
Children’s drawings were transferred directly onto selected patches and embroidered using free-motion stitching. The hand was intentionally left imperfect: uneven tension, wandering lines, small hesitations. These marks function as memory rather than decoration — a record of gesture translated into textile.
Strength emerged during repetition. Stitch after stitch stabilized fragile material, turning softness into structure. The work suggests that durability does not come from uniform fabric, but from attention, time and repair. Anyone can begin the same way: keep fragments, slow down, and allow construction to follow emotion instead of precision. The technique asks for patience more than mastery, and patience accumulates into form.
