This is a fantastic course! Jane French is a really fabulous artist and she has paid meticulous attention to every stage of painting a portrait. She has opened up a whole new world for me, of tonal values and brush techniques - and also of looking at a subject with an artist's eye.

I hope I can find other courses by her. Her story of becoming a professional artist is inspiring too. Many, many thanks Jane!

Un cours très professionnel, complet , très pédagogique. Jane maîtrise très bien sa technique, on apprend beaucoup en la regardant faire, même si ça peut paraître long parfois. Elle est très stimulante et très généreuse d’informations. J’ai adoré ( presque terminé mon projet ) et je recommande pour qui veut développer une approche plus contemporaine.

I've been following Jane French for quite a while on Instagram and love her work. I was so excited to see this class and it really gave me insight into her work. She is a great instructor! This class was well set up and very informative. It was everything that I'd hoped for!
