I didnt have any trouble following the mixing of the paint to the canvas.
Jane French is an excellent teacher and artist.

Though Jane French is a wonderful artist and an easy to listen to tutor, I can't help wonder if the actual classes could zoom in in what she is doing with the colours she is mixing. The videos in the beginnen are well presented. But the moment that she actually teaches on how she works, where her brush is on the canvas and what the colour on her mixing palette looks like, the camera zooms out on just her painting. This makes the course difficult to follow.

Exactly what I was looking for. Practical guidance through the whole process. Jane French is a wonderful artist and easy to listen to tutor. I am enjoying the course so much. Great value for knowledge and money! Thank you.

Excellent course. I have avoided using oils. But after this course, I am eager to explore more.

I am guiding a group of boys on this course, their first time using oils. I love the methodisation of the course, the soothing music as we apply the paint, the clear instruction and the starter points to get hooked. Jane French has been an inspiration. Thanks so much!

I so enjoyed watching Jane paint the beautiful portrait for the final project and watching how she places each brush stroke thoughtfully and carefully. Although I work in acrylics I have learned new techniques that I will be able to use in my work. I would love to take another class with Jane French.

I have liked and admired Jane's work for a while. This course gives a good insight into how she has developed her technique and style. Lots of tips and content for beginner and more advanced artists alike.
