Der Kurs ist absolut empfehlenswert. Der Dozent überzeugt durch seine einfache und prägnante Lehrmethodik und sein sympatisches Wesen. Der Kurs ist perfekt aufgebaut und macht es leicht, in die Ölmalerei einzusteigen. Spoileralarm: Es geht nicht um die perfekte Zeichung eines Portraits und deren Umsetzung mit Ölfarben. Es geht um das Sehen von Flächen und den Malprozess als ein Geben und Nehmen von Farben auf der Leinwand. Der Kurs ist eine Kombination von Inspiration & Intuition!

Ich habe in diesem Kurs gelernt möglichst lange unkonkret zu bleiben, Zufälle zuzulassen und mir vom Bild zeigen zu lassen wo es hinwill statt zu sehr lenken zu wollen. Gleich mein erstes Portrait zeigt eine Lockerheit, die ich in meinen Ölbildern nur selten erreicht habe!

Ich kann diesen Kurs jedem empfehlen der lockerer und freier beim Malen werden möchte, dem es nicht nur ums Abmalen geht sondern um den Malprozess an sich, um einen eigenen Ausdruck - und das ganz unabhängig vom Sujet.

One of the best portrait painting courses I have taken in terms of content.Torsten is a very generous teacher and I really admire his painting style. I do not speak any German and am really pleased I bought this course. He develops the portrait with a mixture of palette knife and brushes in a limited primary colour palette.I highly recommend this course to anyone who would like to learn to paint expressive portraits with a palette knife. This course will certainly take my work to the next level.

Excelente curso! De fato, o nível está mais para intermediário do que para iniciante, mas o novo enfoque do processo de pintura é sensacional. Torsten tem ótima didática e ótimo conhecimento do assunto. Altamente recomendado!

Toller Kurs mit einem emphatischen und sachkundigem Lehrer.
Habe auf Domestika schon einige Kurse erworben - dieser sticht vor allem positiv hervor durch die unterhaltsame Kurzweiligkeit. Er sollte auf jeden Fall ein Bestseller hier werden!
Kann ihn nur empfehlen! Er hat mir einiges an neuen Ideen gegeben und Mut unkonventionell in Öl zu malen!

Es war sehr interessant, hilfreich, jedoch nicht für Anfänger. Ich habe viel gelernt und gute Tipps bekommen.

A really excellent class, at least for intermediate to advanced painters. Extensive, thoughtful, and generous instruction from Torsten (who is also a very fine artist). Weak (but manageable) English translation. All supported by superb and insightful camera work and editing. I'm not sure about the "Beginner" level rating on this course. When I was a beginner, I'm not sure how much I would have gotten out of it..

Super goede uitleggen Torsten en makkelijk te begrijpen , sinds kort heb ik olieverf aangeschaft en wil mij hier meer in verdiepen. Duits is voor mij heel goed te verstaan maar schrijven geht nicht so gut:) Ik woon 11 km van Alstätte in Haaksbergen Holland.
Ik heb niet helemaal alles van de cursus volgens voorschrift afgehandeld maar ga zeker deze nog opnieuw doen.

Very unique way of painting and teaching! Although it is in German i could follow the subtitles, the important part is to watch Torsten apply the paint in his special way, he explains every brush stroke, and why he did it, I think that this is a really good class with loads of information that is explained in a a fun and relaxed way. I cant wait to start to apply what I learned in his class. Thank you Torsten and Domestica.

Very nice course, well structured and explained, professional prepared. I recommend it. The only drawback is the subtitling which is I suppose automatic and poor but despite this the course is worth buying.
