SUSANA MORCILLO LEÓN
I studied Illustration at Art and Design School of Vitoria, Spain; I have also studied Graphic Design. I worked as designer in EUVE company taking part in the production of an educational video game for children; Manrais. After that, i studied Arts at the University specializing in painting. I have also some experience in the Project Department at UCM University managing and selecting projects for university to send to Blanca Berlin Gallery, Madrid. I have made several exhibitions in art galleries as Isala, Madrid, Galería Liebre, Madrid, Círculo de Bellas Artes , Toledo, Nero Gallery, Roma, The Grant Bradley Gallery, Bristol, UK … I have also worked with the magazine 967arte in the international art fair ARCO. The last years I have organized some creative workshops with adults and children focusing the cases in senses and emotions in the process of creation. In my personal art works most of my influences are related to human body and women. I’m interested in topics like the concept of time, desires, dreams, contact with nature, cycle of life,… which make me develop and evolve in my art work.
