Marti Bloomquist

I’ve always loved to cook and travel, and would like to combine that with my writing skills. I was contributing to online travel sites as a writer before social media was a thing. Later I was as a dining editor of a lifestyle magazine on Maui. I received a liver transplant during the pandemic so I got very creative with cooking, using it as my outlet and my nourishment. I’m ready to create a memoir of sorts and have fun doing it while traveling to exotic places celebrating life now that I’m well, cooking new cuisines, meeting new people, seeing new sites, all while remembering and honoring my past.
