Barry Morley

I have a lot of stories to tell. I grew up in a small town during the time when the Vietnam war had commenced, at odds with the hippy period, free love and LSD. I became a registered nurse and have spent 40 years in critical care areas, and then as a director if nursing. In my twenties I spent two years travelling the USSR, Africa and the Middle East. I married, had two children, and suffered the agony of losing my only son. Shortly after that my family was caught at the epicentre of a major terrorist bombing. I have so many stories within me, many tragic, others inspiring. I became a writer when I semi-retired 4 years ago and have published numerous short stories. Now I intend to tell my stories, some fictional and others non-fictional, and share what I have within me.
