Art has always been a luxurious add-on to my other studies and professional life but it’s my passion. I studied art history at an art college after failing to get in as a fine artist (due to a non existent paint portfolio) I draw well and particularly love portraits. I love many photographers especially Diane Arbus and Robert Mapplethorpe. I am obsessed with colour. I decorate my home in colour and love decorating paint - staring at colour cards is a favourite pastime! I think I’ve always deflected my need to learn to paint so am really hoping this course will kick start me.
