I have been an avid knitter and crocheter for most of my life, and now that I'm no longer working outside the home, I have time to learn all kinds of new things! I've recently become very interested in dollmaking, just for my own fun or for gifts, and now would like to improve my crochet skills for amigurumi. I have made a few dolls in the past, but I'm really excited to learn how to make clothes and hair in varied and unique ways, customizing the patterns especially. Designing patterns on my own is not a skill I have, so I've always depended upon the patterns I could find. I've also made quite a few animals, both knitted and crocheted, the most recent of which was a giraffe, really fun!
