Iris Mishly

I am Iris Mishly, a polymer clay & macrame artist living in Israel.
I consider myself a mixed media artist exploring crafts and materials. As a former fashion designer and graphic designer, I developed an eye for innovation, originality, and aesthetics in design.
Back in the 90’s, I graduated from Haifa’s Academy of design studying Fashion Design. Shortly after completing my studies, I admitted to myself that fashion itself isn’t my thing. I took a U-turn and did a bachelor's degree in Hebrew Language only to realize I could not live without art. With 2 degrees I decided to teach myself graphic and web design. I am a genuine self-learner!
It wasn’t long after that I discovered polymer clay and micro macrame, and that was my “eureka” moment.
My main mission is to teach, share, and inspire artists and hobbyists to create.
My work was featured in various books, magazines, and blogs.
I taught worldwide in - Europe (workshops and conventions), the USA, & Australia (more on that on my webpage).
