Tom Pigot

Hi. I am self taught oil painter, lucky enough to have sold almost all of my work since starting to paint 7 years ago. I also love acting and have taken 2 years away from the easel to make my first film as director/producer. I am now back in the studio and really want to get to a new and more interesting level of creativity with my future paintings. Although unintentional at first my work seems to always have elements of solitude (some say sadness, others say peacefulness) and I love to include heavy contrast and shadows as part of my work. I now want to learn to paint the most interesting thing on earth...the human face.
