Heather Megill

I am a retired elementary school teacher who had after retirement plans to become fluent in French and then go to Fashion design school. Like so many of us Covid interrupted those plans. Expecting the pandemic would last a while I bought a house in the country in rural Ontario, Canada. I now teach part time as there is great shortage of teachers worldwide. In my spare time I love to garden and experiment growing fruits and vegetables as well as planting a wide assortment of flowers. I like to try different kinds of crafts with a focus on both glasswork such as glassblowing and mosaic glass and hand embroidery. I am the mother of two adult children who have fallen in love with country living and because of Covid often who now work from my home. I love having my children, step children and grandchildren around when lockdown rules permit.

I saw this wonderful course on Domestika and am very excited to give it a try.
