After trying out about a million things I finally feel fully confident in choosing linocutting, etching and tattooing as my creative medium.
Funnily all these things demand quite a high level of attention and you can easily get hurt or hurt others if you are not fully committed to the moment. If you fuck up, it's pretty much irreversible. Another reason to love it is that it's quite physical so a lot of my energy is going into the final piece of art, which adds a different kind of value according to my beliefs.
To me, tattoos are more than just ink on skin. I consider every piece as a manifestation of someone's dreams, fears, wishes, hopes, thoughts... that find their way out of the hidden into an art piece and will be on their side for the rest of their lives. In my understanding tattooing is a very spiritual experience, it's not a service its an experience two people share with each other.
Personally every tattoo I got had a very cathartic effect on me and I am grateful that I am now able to give this to other people
