Malin is well versed in the history of design and the Golden Age of Illustrators. You see it in her choice of colour palette and the movement of design and patterns in her artwork. I haven't finished the course yet, however, so far I like it a lot! Great teacher, and this course approaches floral illustration from another way than I've been used to. Thank you Malin!

Excellent course!

As a beginner I learned important techniques to paint with gouache, to study and to draw flowers, leaves and birds, how to continue to work digitally with the painting and how to prepare it for printing. I like the fact that Malin is encouraging you to find your own style in both drawing, painting and what colours to use, by paying attention to what you are attracted to or what you like!
