David Poxon is a great artist as well as an excellent teacher! He is very pedagogical and calm in his explaining. I highly recommend this course. I'm learning so much more than I had expected. I really enjoy this journey :)

A wonderful course, David is an inspiring and generous teacher. Would definitely recommend to anyone learning about watercolor or wishing to expand their skills.

Excellent course. David presents the material calmly and slowly and is joy for the subject is evident. I don't really think this is a beginner course, tho' beginners will learn several things.

Excellent course. I'm just beginning my watercolor journey and learned quite a lot from taking this course. David is an excellent excellent teacher and his passion for watercolor shows.
The subjects that he chooses to paint are the subjects that I enjoy to photograph so this will inspire me to turn some of those photos into watercolor paintings one day after I gain some more experience.

David Poxon started this course with the assumption that we all love watercolor and have a desire to expand our journey into competency and agency as an artist. Being a new painter, this was so refreshing. He gives voice to the watercolor paints explaining how to find their magic as we apply them onto the paper. His explanations were so clear and concise in taking me to the foundations of controlling the paints with his techniques. A master in his art and a master in his teaching.

Here is an unassuming British gentleman who is a genius. He has mastered his skill and gone on to create new ways of looking at watercolours. He is clear and diligent with his explanations. The course is well thought through and presented, unlike some courses here which are very basic and superficial.
