Both of Julie’s courses are amazing and I highly recommend them. I’ve watched each several times as I work my way through my own drawings and teach myself watercolour by following her techniques as I practice by copying other paintings in her collection. It becomes a jigsaw puzzle of steps as I try to decide “what would Julie do” as the next step. I loved how she’d calmly paint and drop-on little comments of tips and fixes and moments of quiet humour. Treat yourself. You’ll be glad you did.

Julie Mellan's course is well taught and I love her artwork. I hope she adds more courses in the future.

I haven't finished the course yet, but would recommend it even on the basis of how much I enjoyed Julie Mellan's first Domestika course

My review is based more on my beginner drawing experience, and not necessarily for othes who have experience. I found it very diifficult and overwhelming to follow along and understand coming into this course with no previous experience with drawing animals. Not much explanation to go along with the drawing for the how's and why's. Perhaps just not my style for learning. I see many positive reviews so probably just not the course I should have chosennfor myself, but is beneficial to others.

I enjoyed this course and it was very helpful. Cute design and relaxed teaching style. Very well explained.

Me gusta que ella trabaje con una estructura mucho más relajada en el video, con la opción de revisar una versión más realista en recursos.
Se enfoca en crear una buena caricatura de un animal y explica de forma hablada cómo es el animal original, pero no muestra referencias en el video. Si no tienes noción del animal sólo revisa fotos o los recursos de PDF antes de los primeros videos.

La edición es bien relajante, así que sugiero acelerar el video si acostumbras clases más activas.
