I have always loved art deco but could never get my head around all the various elements. This course has shown me one by one and can't wait to get on with my project.

Great course! Good pace and a lot of details.

Mads' work is absolutely beautiful. I am redesigning my endangered species websites (http://www.Bagheera.com) and his work gives me a sense of what is possible in terms of creating beautiful -and unique- illustrations. I have no illusions that I will (ever) be able to replicate the level of beauty Mads creates, but it does inspire me to want to achieve a new level in my own artistic efforts and then apply those efforts to the photographs and illustrations I create for my websites.

Overall excellent course. The instructor did an excellent job on explaining his planning and thinking processes. However, if the process of colouring the work were included in the lessons instead of showing the work as coloured and explaining the process after the fact, it would make the course even more instructive.

I enjoyed this introduction to Art Deco and hope to utilize it in some of my future work. I was more interested in what makes Art Deco, Art Deco and not so interested in the computer steps in his illustration. However in did enjoy this course.
