I would recommend this course for a beginning or inexperienced artist. Fine instructions for examining your environment, finding objects that have meaning to you, and then turning them into drawings.

I enjoyed working and experimenting with different media such as coloured pencils and oil pastels. This course is well-paced and offers many good suggestions on how to create art using these materials to their full potential. Definitely worth the purchase!

a great intro to oil and colored pencil! thanks for the exercises to see how pressure can make a difference in color gradience. Also, blind sketching was a great technique to jump-start any project.
