The course is so enjoyable and fun, and very thorough. Perfect for beginners, or for people who already know their way around embroidery (which is my case). I've already started the project, and it's the first time I'm doing realistic embroidery so I'm very excited.

I was quite satisfied with Emillie Ferris' course on embroidery painting. I took this course because I haven't done this style of embroidery for about 20 years and wanted to see if there were any new techniques, tips, or tricks that I might learn. Emillie is a good teacher, and a pleasure to listen to. The only suggestion I have is for a couple of more close-up views of techniques for the newbies. I definitely recommend Emillie's class!

It took me about a month to finish the project for this course, and I enjoyed every moment of it! Emillie is charming, encouraging and knowledgeable, and even though I wasn't a total beginner embroiderer I learned so many useful things. Especially the method for separating a strand or two from the skein of floss-- total game changer! I can't wait to start creating my own designs and experimenting with other subject matter in the thread painting style. Thank you Emillie!
