My name is Polyxeni Mitroudi, and I come from greece and i'm in a small lakesside town called Kastoria, breathes tradition and nature. My journey in art began with the study of Byzantine iconography and mural painting, and later continued with studies in painting and drawing. Charcoal and ink are the materials that speak most deeply to my soul, and thus most of my works are born through them. Sumi-e came as a natural continuation — an art that combines discipline and freedom, simplicity and depth. I have presented my work in exhibitions, created book covers, and I also teach both children and adults to discover their own artistic voice.
