The talent I desire the most is drawing. Embroidery makes me feel like I can draw and create what my minds eye can see. I have been embroidering since I was a teenager, a good 50 years. I started with simple cross stitch and eventually progressed to more difficult and complex images. After a long break from stitching, the pandemic inspired me to try portrait embroidery.
Currently, I am inspired by nature and simple botanical line drawings.
