Wuxia Warrior

My project is based on wuxia characters, I gathered some reference images for my character , and a small environment to surround the character with.

Notebook, Blender, Pure ref (for adding and organizing reference images)

After gathering my references, I did a quick sketch of my character, and took a picture to transfer over to blender.

I modeled my character first, and added a few props one by one, adding little details along the way.

I modeled the rest of my props, and decided to make the scene darker so that I the lanterns could show a little more light, then I used the compositor to add the glowing effect to the fireflies 😄

I was able to complete the project after a few days of modeling/trouble shooting, and I took a few days off in between. I enjoyed the project and look forward to the next one!
