Dice in Parallel Universe

I have created this small animated illustration as part of the course "Animated Illustration in Procreate: Tell a Story with Movement" by Martín Tognola . Normally I am creating art using waste materials and this illustration was a small creative experiment made out of packaging I found here and there. I wanted to digitize it with movement to express the full atmosphere I had in my head.

I only used my own collage as a resource for this project but for the inspiration in general, I was checking some real images of dice. That's it! Sometimes it is easier to find the inspiration in me than looking around for it, and it was one of those times.

I started off by tracing my collage and slowly added the layers. The final touch was to find the right brushes to give the paper-like textures that the original collage has.
